Morning Prayers

Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall proclaim your praise (Ps. 51:15).
In the morning, let me know your love for I put my trust in you. Make me know the way I should walk; to you I lift up my soul (Ps. 143:8).
I rise before dawn and cry for your help (Ps. 119:147).
In the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I offer you my sacrifice of prayer, watching and waiting (Ps. 5:3).
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to proclaim your love in the morning, and your truth in the watches of the night (Ps. 92:1-2).
O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning (Is. 33:2).
Morning by morning he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught (Is. 50:4).
In you is the source of life, and in your light we see light (Ps. 36:7).
Fill us at daybreak with your kindness (Ps. 90:14).
Wisdom is found by those who seek her. She hastens to make herself known in anticipation of their desire; whoever watches for her at dawn shall not be disappointed (Wis. 6:12-13).
Lord, apart from you I can do nothing…let your good spirit guide me in ways that are level and smooth (John 15 & Ps. 143).
Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Eph. 6:13-17).
